I can agree with this sentiment - some things you cannnot go back to due to understanding more about the issue.
I am guessing this about returning to a faith stand this is less complicated but also quite sincere. However, with knowledge comes change - and change is a good thing. There is no going back to that simplicity of faith - at least not for me - I alreayd know too much (and been burned in away that required me to learn).
The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is to high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself.
